This body of work was painted in Suffolk, the place I paint most often. I love its coast, salt marshes, inland landscapes and, of course, its big skies. The still lifes are also painted on home turf: wild flowers from the hedgerows, fish from the sheds at Aldeburgh. Some of the works are preparatory studies, others more finished pieces and many are in vintage frames to complement my style. The full collection was originally on view at Aldeburgh Gallery (4–10 September 2025) and now exists online. I hope you enjoy.
